Termomeccanica G.L. s.r.l.
The history of TERMOMECCANICA G.L. s.r.l. began in 1978 in Casina, in the Reggio Emilia Apennines, thanks to the initiative of its founder, Luciano Giangolini. Initially operating as a seller of paints and components for body shops, Giangolini quickly recognised the strong demand for equipment that characterised the market at the time, choosing to capitalise on his field experience to establish an independent manufacturing company. What began as a concrete response to the needs of local body shops evolved over time, leading the company in 2005 to move to Felina di Castelnovo ne’ Monti, where its registered and production headquarters are still located today.
Still owned by the Giangolini family and led by President Romeo Giangolini together with his sons Davide, Andrea and Matteo, the company has transformed over the years from a modest assembly business into one of the world leaders in the design and production of high-quality equipment for body shops and industrial painting systems. Today, Termomeccanica G.L. is the only company in the sector capable of offering complete solutions entirely manufactured in-house.
Thanks to their long lasting experience and know-how, the Giangolini brothers and their staff have led TERMOMECCANICA GL to its current position that involves about 70 employees and exports worldwide about the 60% of its production of spray booths, prep stations, paint boxes, benches and lifters.
Since 1989 with the “Projects on Request ”The company started a further development by establishing its own IDD (Industrial Development Department ) in order to be able to design and build customized painting structures in response to the needs of specific market sectors such as aeronautics, motoring, railways and more
